Who provides Kramena

Kramena is developed and operated by Raahel Baig. In these terms, "Kramena," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that service. "You" refers to the person using it.

By using Kramena, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Kramena is a reading application that prepares complete books into paced Episodes, keeps reading progress on your device, and lets you import compatible EPUB files. Catalog availability, Episode preparation, companion material, and supported features may change over time.

Kramena does not replace the original work with a summary. Recaps and character guides are optional reading aids and may contain errors or omissions.

Accounts

You can begin and continue reading without creating an account. A Kramena Account is voluntary unless you choose Membership, where it is used to associate and restore access across supported devices.

You are responsible for access to your email account and for keeping one-time sign-in codes private. Tell us promptly if you believe your Kramena Account is being used without permission.

Membership and payment

Kramena offers an optional Lifetime Membership as a one-time, non-recurring purchase. Membership benefits are described on the Membership page and in the app.

Lifetime Membership is sold only inside the Android app through Google Play. The Google Play purchase screen displays the exact local price, currency, and applicable taxes before purchase. Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google Play account once when you confirm; there is no automatic renewal.

"Lifetime" means access to the included Membership features for as long as Kramena offers those features, subject to these terms, a valid unrefunded purchase, and applicable law. It does not promise that every current feature or the Kramena service will remain unchanged or available indefinitely.

We may change Membership features or the price offered to future purchasers. A price change does not create an additional charge for an existing Lifetime Membership.

Restoration and refunds

Lifetime Membership can be restored using the Kramena Account and Google Play account associated with the original purchase. Uninstalling Kramena does not consume or cancel the purchase.

Refund eligibility depends on Google Play's refund policies, the circumstances of the purchase, your location, and applicable law. You may request a refund through Google Play or contact us about a purchase that was not delivered or did not work as expected. If Google Play refunds, reverses, or revokes a purchase, Kramena may remove its Membership access.

Your books and saved material

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to import and read an EPUB file in Kramena. Do not use the service to infringe copyright or other rights.

Your reading progress, highlights, notes, and saved words are stored locally. A Personal EPUB selected for cloud preparation is privately processed and stored for your Kramena Account as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining any device backup you need for local reading data.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Kramena, interfere with its services, attempt unauthorised access, circumvent reasonable limits, distribute malicious content, or use catalog or companion services in a way that violates the law or another person's rights.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Kramena available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons.

If a material change adversely affects a paid Membership, we will provide any remedy required by Google Play or applicable law.

Responsibility

Kramena is provided with reasonable care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Ending use

You may stop using Kramena at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risk, legal obligations, or a serious breach of these terms. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Kramena changes. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the app or this website when appropriate. Your mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
